Open-jet unit for surface preparation.

For optimum preparation of the varnishing we dispose of a modern open-jet unit, with a dimension of 16m (length) x 5,5m (width) x 6m (height), in which components made from cast steel or aluminium are cleaned with abrasive emery for blasting. By means of various manipulation tools we can handle components and vehicles of many different designs.

The professional preparation of the components guarantees a durable surface. We offer an overall service for all suppliers of commercial vehicles and bodies.

Varnishing

Circulating system

In the flexible circulating system components of various dimensions can be handled, i.e. small as well as large-size components.

The surfaces of iron, aluminium and cast alloy are treated with cast steel scrap S330 and the achieved surface roughness is between 25 and 30 µ.

The following surface treatments are applied:

• double layer
• triple layer

Various varnishes and varnishing procedures facilitate varnish layers from 35 μ up to any chosen thickness, depending on the pretreatment of the surface.

It goes without saying that we try to meet also specific customer requests, like the application of nitrocellulose lacquers or different base varnishes.

Varnishing box

In our varnishing box vehicles with a length up to 20 m, width 5 m and height 4,5 m can be varnished.

We do not only carry out large-area varnishing, also “spot repair” is part of our daily business. We use two-pack base and cover varnishes in conformity with VOC and metallic varnishes.

For surface treatments state-of-the-art technology is used:

• "AUTOMATCHIC", a computer-based colour-analysis system provides all the necessary information to mix any required shade of colour.
• The temperature in the drying box can be adjusted from 20° to 90°.
